An
entry from one of Janice Lowry's journals. The artist has kept journals
for her entire adult life. "It's the cheapest therapy a person
can do," she says.
|
|
Mari
Le Glatin-Keis loves to sketch in her journals while she travels, even
if she's just wandering around her own garden. Marie says, "Sketching
while traveling is humbling, and sets you apart from the regular tourist."
|
|
Sondra
Holtzman loves to collect found objects and collage them into her journals.
Her journaling philosophy: "Do something that scares you and pushes
your limits."
|
|
"Because
of my journals, I'm constantly seeing the beauty in the simplest things,"
says Mindy Carpenter. She loves to draw in her own lines on the pages
of her journals and play with different handwriting styles.
