Add some interest to any wall in your home or office by using 12”x12” frames to frame your favorite Somerset Art Calendar pages! I purchase the 12”x12” raw wood frames from a local discount store and then painted them with a burgundy red paint. I then sealed the paint with Collage Pauge Matte (5DU-MATTE16) so that the paint doesn’t chip or scratch.

Use your old Somerset Art Calendar pages to creatively wrap gifts! The Calendar pages measure 12”x12” so they will work great for smaller sized gifts. Add a finishing touch to the gifts by tying them with a simple piece of Scrappers Floss, Seam Binding Ribbon or Twill Tape. The Somerset Art Calendar pages used in this project include pages from the Art Journaling 2010 Calendar (1CAL-JOU10)

Use your old calendar pages as scrapbook paper! The page I used came from the Art Journaling 2010 Calendar. Many of the 12”x12” calendar pages feature artistic designs that you can easily use as backgrounds when scrapbooking.

My scrapbook page was embellished simply with pink and blue acrylic paint and white gesso (5HSP24941). I then added some black German foil Black Baroque Borders (5AR-G892) to accent the left edge of the page and added one strip of it under the photograph.
