Bold
use of color, geometric shapes and fantastic embellishments are part
of this artists trademark design. Hailing from Rochester, NY,
Lynn Millers contributions to The Stampers Sampler over
many months caught our eye and we knew we had to showcase her work.
To learn more about Lynn and how she creates her pieces, please see
page 16.

This
is the ideal notepad to have on hand when the babysitter arrives. Cleverly
concealed on the top of this adorable box, youre sure never to
misplace it! Perfect for keeping track of phone numbers to call in case
of emergency, a childs favorite toy, bedtime rituals, or just
the basic schedule of events any sitter would be grateful for
a few helpful reminders. And best of all, it is made from a Post-it
notepad so pages can easily be discarded after use and refilled when
empty.

From
the sands of Egypt to the snowy fields of Alaska, artist Danielle Cote
of Quebec, Canada has captured scenes from around the world in her handmade
book with specialty papers, rubber bands and bamboo skewers. Her intricate
panels reveal three-dimensional pictures that she has assembled into
this small book. With her rubber stamps, Danielle brings each scenic
design to life, a window into lives from another part of the world.

Our
June/July issue wouldn't be complete without festive samples sporting
red, white and blue tones. This year it is no exception, as more than
300 samples poured into our office celebrating the many themes and virtues
of this patriotic holiday. We're proud to show many pages of Americana
artwork from our readers in this issue. And keep your eye out for more
to appear in our Catch Up 2003 publication.
