Below are pages from The Stampers' Sampler, December/January 2007.
Stephanie Lee jewelry embodies the concept of working with old metal and natural found objects. Stephanie experiments with different metals and stones, inks and paints to come up with beautiful, yet durable combinations of objects and imagery. By combining vintage and natural beads with these found elements, she creates a wearable work of art that is as versatile as it is beautiful.
When it comes to birthdays, everybody in the Stempelartisten stamping group tried to create something special for the birthday girl. One of the members came up with the fabulous idea of the stamping quilt. Because each member creates a card square for the recipient, the gift is meaningful and personal. The idea was a hit so the group created several more projects, check out the results in this latest issue.
Finally, a way to combine a love of fashion and stamping into one project!  To enhance the stamped images, Rebecca embroiders right onto the inked panels, turning the jacket into an art masterpiece. Charms, buttons, and lace trims complete this fun and fresh look. Fashion should be fun, so turn your old pieces into vogue pieces with a style that is uniquely your own!
These tissue paper and wax collages are simply amazing looking! The projects are easy to duplicate with the correct tools. By using stamps and clip art, the possibilities are endless. The key is to have fun experimenting with different papers and colors of wax. For more information and specific directions, don’t miss this article.
