Below are some of the articles featured in The Stampers' Sampler, December/January 2004 issue!

Herbaceous Pages
What began with some digital photographs of her garden grew into a customized recipe book full of hand carved herb stamps and seeds. Gardner and artist, Elizabeth Campbell initially carved a couple of stamps to capture the yarrow and thyme that grew in her Colorado garden from photos she had snapped and transferred to carving blocks. She wanted to create her own seed packets for friends and carving her own designs allowed her to customize her gifts completely.
Tag – She's It!
Far from England in a stamper's studio in Lapeer, MI sits an artist assembling tag collages made with her rubber stamps. It's no coincidence that each piece Georgia Gibbon creates looks incredibly similar to British artist, Sarah Lugg's original work. Georgia uses a 2003 Lugg calendar as her inspiration and muse. Georgia tells us that Sarah's art is "A feast for my eyes! Her simplicity of materials and design is so alluring." When Georgia spotted The Stampers' Sampler's challenge for Lugg valentine's she knew she had some pieces to submit. And she didn't stop with hearts and kisses. Georgia assembled several pieces evocative of the outdoor spirit, each in Sarah-style.

About Face
Intrigued with marionettes and paper dolls, stamper Tracy Tolmachoff entered her studio one day to play with a concept she had seen published in a magazine about angels. Armed with rubber stamps and paper supplies Tracy sat down at her table to see what would come. Puppet People, as Tracy calls them, were her resulting creations.
