Fuchsia Beetle

Stamp beetle (A Stamp in the Hand) with red ink on a torn-edge white panel. Color the image with Prismacolor ArtStix and blend with rubber cement thinner. Sponge dark green ink along the edges of the panel. Attach the panel to a fuchsia panel. Apply chartreuse and fuchsia inks to a paper towel. Crumple the paper towel to blend colors. Spray the paper towel with black webbing spray. Tear paper towel into a diagonal strip. Wet a torn-edge watercolor-paper panel thoroughly. Drop gouache and coordinating metallic inks on the paper and allow to swirl and blend. Lay various yarns randomly on panel and machine-embroider. Attach the chartreuse panel and the paper towel strip to the embroidered panel. Sew pink seed beads along the edges of the panel and three green floral glass beads to the left side of the panel. Attach the panel to a torn-edge black panel.
Gypsy Girl

Color a clip-art of a woman with watercolor pencils and metallic inks. Cut out the image. Brayer olive, red, blue, aqua, and gold inks on a top-folded torn-edge watercolor card. Gold-emboss triangle (Paper Parachute) randomly on the card. Attach a deckle-edge red patterned-paper panel and a green printed panel to the card as shown. Tie a group of thin green feathers together and glue to the left side of the woman cutout. Apply rust ink to a gold foil medallion. Glue the woman cutout and the medallion to the card.
