When Dottie Jazemski discovered some Formica chips at Art From Scrap in Santa Barbara, CA (www.communityenvironmentalcouncil.org/artfromscrap/) she didn't think kitchen counters or flooring. She thought art! These small wooden pieces are manufactured as customer samples. Dottie saw blank canvases for art instead.

Mary Jines is the owner of a scrapbooking and rubberstamp store in Avon, IN called Stampin Xanadu and has been in business for two years. She started her store with a love of scrapbooking, but quickly took up rubberstamping too as she realized the two hobbies went hand in hand.


Bleach. It's not just for laundry anymore. You're may already know that bleach stamping is one of the many creative options available to stampers today. Kelly Burton first started playing with bleach about six months ago and discovered a knack for the technique. Since then she has honed her craft and created this striking father's day ensemble using bleach and a spray bottle.
An ordinary box template is not hard to find, but the one we challenged our readers with in the Dec/Jan 2003 issue had a little twist. We liked this template especially because of its versatile top closure. We were intrigued to see what our readers would do with this fancy top.
