Traveler’s Stickers

If you love stickers and travel (or the idea of traveling some day soon) you’ll want to add these stickers to your shopping cart right now. Using both photos and illustrations, these stickers take you around the world in the blink of an eye. Locations featured in this set of twelve stickers include Cairo, London, Costa Rica, Greece, Paris, El Salvador, Monterey, Beijing, Sumatra, San Francisco, Italy, and India. While the stickers vary in size and shape (please see photos), the average size is at least 2" x 2". These stickers will add to your artwork, envelopes, journals, and anything else you’d like to add a little something too. An added bonus is the amount of blank white space between the images – extra sticker paper for you to use however you see fit.

Artist Mona Gettmann created the wonderful sample below.

Stamp several images from Chinese Characters Stamp Set (5CHCHINESE) randomly with permanent black ink on a panel of wallpaper. Cut a circle in the center of a square panel of cherry blossom patterned-paper (Paper Parachute). Cut the square panel into four panels as shown. Watercolor the flowers and leaves on the panels. Layer the Wall of China sticker from Travel Stickers (5PRTRAVEL) with the circle panel to a decorative-edge sage panel. Set aside. Layer the four remaining panels with orange panels to green vellum panels. Mount the panels to the wallpaper panel with foam tape. Attach the wallpaper panel to the top portion of a black corrugated journal. Layer two coordinating faux posts from Asian #2 Postalz Postage Sheet (SAAASIAN#2 - Discontinued) with orange panels to sage panels. Mount the prepared sage panels and a Large Chinese Coin (5ASCOINLRG) to the bottom portion of the journal with foam tape. Remove ribbon binding and replace with coordinating fibers from Disco Black Art Yarn (5AYBLACK) and Pumpkin Brown Art Yarn (5AYBROWN). Thread the yarn through a second coin and tie into a knot.
