Creepy Vintage Doll Décor
by Sarah Meehan

Carefully trim a head, arms and legs from the Texas Tess Collage Sheet (5TR-402C). Trace trimmed images onto light-weight cardboard and cut inside the lines to make pieces slightly smaller than the trimmed images. Using a glue stick, affix the images to the cardboard.

Use an Acrylic Paint Dabber in Snow Cap (5AA-ALD22671) to apply a light, streaky coat of paint to the outside and inside surfaces of a Large Slide Mailer (5PS-SLIDE4). Use a black marker to color the edges of the mailer. Let dry thoroughly, and glue the images to the back of the mailer to form a doll.

Trace a Glass Slide (5FSC-SLIDES) onto a sheet from Vintage Scraps I (5PM-850081), and cut out. Repeat to create 4 slide-sized pieces of paper, and then apply a thin layer of of paint using the Acrylic Paint Dabber in Snow Cap (5AA-ALD22671). Print text reading "'Tis now the very witching time of night" onto a sheet of ExtravOrganza (5JQ-JAC9703). Cut the words from the sheet, and glue two words to each of the four paper strips.

Place a Glass Slide (5FSC-SLIDES) over the top of each paper strip, and run a piece of Copper Foil Tape (5PP-CFTAPE) around the edge to secure. Repeat on all four slides. Use Glue Dots to adhere the slides to the mailer. Embellish the outer and inner covers with Paint Rub-Ons by Basic Grey (5BG-BEL683).

Drill holes in the upper corners of the inside flap using a small, hand-held drill. Thread two pieces of white Scrapper's Floss (5KF-00292) through the holes, and tie to an Antique Skeleton Key (5DCKEY). Attach a small spool (5HP-SPOOLS) to the front cover using a Glue Dot. Tape Scrapper's Floss (5KF-00292) to the backside, and wrap around the spool to secure.
