paper sculpture, part gift box, part card—this pyramid box template
offers the stamp artist many clever options. This sample, prepared
by featured guest artist, Beryl Taylor, is her version using a template
created by Karen Thomas of Yasutomo paper company. While the pyramid
box is not new, the square frame fitting over the top of the box and
its decorative rod do offer a fresh interpretation on this old favorite.
Try
your hand at an embellished pyramid box. You’ll be surprised
at how easy it is to assemble. Look for narrow dowels at your craft
store, or use a trimmed bamboo skewer in the top.
