Shaped Books to Alter

You've seen altered books and may have even made one or two. They are lots of fun, and a great way to use all your rubber stamps and ephemera in a new and exciting creative adventure. But now you can take your art one step further with our Shaped Books to Alter. We have the old books in interesting shapes, and you only need to let your imagination run wild. With some glue, paints and inks, as well as charms, stamps, papers and ephemera, you can create an original book for yourself or as a gift.

Be sure to check out our instruction books that guide you through the creative process of altered books, including "Altered Books 101", "Altered Books 102 – Beyond the Basics", "Altered Book Special Effects!", and "Altered Book Materials Guide!"

Each of these shaped books will each be unique, since they are made from assorted used books. They vary in size, thickness, content, and title. Most of the books range from 5" to 8" wide, and are from 6" to 11" high. We hope you'll be pleased with the book you receive, and will enjoy turning it into your own unique work of art.
