Memorabilia Frames
Preserving two and three-dimensional memorabilia has just become simpler with these ready to use Memorabilia Frames. The 1 1/4" deep insets are lined in a beautiful neutral black and cream harlequin pattern, while the facing edge of the frame is covered in a complementary neutral script pattern. These shadowbox frames are nicely constructed from heavy cardstock and can be used as is, or enhanced by decorating, painting, and embellishing! Available in three useful styles.

Twilight

Step 1: Cut out an 8” x 8” square from a Jade Pattern Acetate (5KC-641716). Measure the square opening in the 8” x 8” Memorabilia Frame (5PR-42-8059) and cut a square opening in the prepared acetate panel. Cut tree image from Cottage Garden Transparency 2 (5SC-50312) into a square panel, slightly smaller than the cavity in the Memorabilia Frame.

Step 2: Cut out a square panel from a floral patterned sheet from Hydrangea 6x6 Paper Pad (5KC-624184). Tear the edges of the panel and sponge with black ink.
Step 3: Computer-generate a sentiment on white paper, spacing the text so that fused glass pieces can be attached later. Trim a Christine Adolph Silver Foil Ornate Paper (5CI-11594) into an 81/2” x 11” panel. Print the sentiment onto the panel. Sponge blue, pink, terracotta and green inks randomly onto the text.
Step 4: Sponge the edges of frame with copper ink.
Step 5: Attach Clear Glass Clear Rods Pack (5SDG-RCLEAR - Discontinued), Clear Glass Jewel (5SDG-JCLEAR - Discontinued) and Clear Glass Rectangle (5SDG-RECLEAR - Discontinued) to the text with Diamond Glaze (5JK-DIAMOND2), as shown. Let dry and trim edges. Attach Copper Wave Edge Foil Tape (5PP-CWFT) and Copper Foil Tape (5PP-CFTAPE) to the edges of the glass pieces. Age the copper tape with Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad (5TS-BLACK).
Step 6: Using Clearly Impressed Large Rectangular Acrylic Mount (5CLR-3X6) and Clearly Impressed Medium Scratch Alphabet (J6227), stamp the word Memories onto the prepared Jade acetate panel with black acrylic paint.
Step 7: Remove top panel from bottom panel.
Step 8: Attach the transparency panels to the bottom cavity and the top panel of the frame. Attach Antique Copper Decorative Brads (5MA-23741) to the corners of the top panel of the frame, as shown. Attach the glass pieces and a Brass Shaker Book Knob (5SG-12177) to the frame. Slide the top panel over the bottom panel. Tie an Antique Key (5DCKEY) to the knob with a length of ribbon.
