Tear pink paper into squares and adhere to front of book ensuring there is about 1/2 " left over the edges. On the inside of the cover glue those edges down and then glue a piece of patterned paper on that is large enough to cover the area. Distress the edges of the cover using a sanders block (5MA-23554) and black ink. Paint chipboard letters red and once dried sand them slightly. Then wrap black scrappers floss (5KF-00351) around the letters as desired and attach to the cover with a strong liquid glue (5AG-DDC02). Using a paper lace pouch from the serendipity kit (5SER-KIT1) unfold the pouch then distress with black ink. Tear it in half (diagonally) and attach to the cover. Use rub-ons as desired and stamp the word “ART” with clear stamps (J6227) and black ink (5TH-TIM19541). Add a frame with some unique elements from the serendipity kit and attach to the lower right corner.
To create the bookmarks, seal the envelope the cut two sides open so that it can slip on the top corner of the page(s). Or you can create a triangular bookmark by just cutting one edge diagonally.
Distress the envelopes and pages with black ink (5TH-TIM19541) and stamp the titles for your contents. Also add large envelopes opposite the main contents pages so you have a place to creatively store magazine clippings and inspirational notes or cards.
