“Rustic Recipe Book”
By Vanessa Spencer
This is a great way to creatively organize your favorite recipe clippings from magazines! I used the Cover All Curved Spine 6x6 (5ZU-7547) and painted it with red acrylic paint (5HSP24798). Once the paint has dried roughly paint over the red with the Antique Linen Crackle Paint (5RR-TDC23654) and allow it to dry. Once it has dried and crackled, add the "Sunday Dinner" ephemera card from the 7gypsies ephemera pack (5SG-11083) to the center of the cover.
For the inside pages I cut down 6"x6" sheets of beige cardstock then punched the holes with the Bind-it-All (5ZU-2811). Distress the edges of all the pages with brown Nick Bantock ink (5RRBROWN). Add your favorite recipe clippings as desired. I also punched some vellum envelopes from the DCWV stationery sets (5DW-MMCBPERI SOLD OUT). You can also distress the edges of those with the brown ink. Bind all the pages together - and since it's a cover all don't forget the acrylic insert that's included that will slide into the inside of the back cover. I used the Antique Brass o-wires (5ZU-2776). Insert into the cover and you now have a creative recipe book!
