Shabby Floral Suitcase
by Sarah Meehan

Use the wide brush from the Claudine Hellmuth Studio 7-piece Brush Set (5CHS24729) to apply a light coat of water to the outside of a mini suitcase (5SM-LS9077). Then, use the same brush to apply a light coat of Gesso (5HSP24941), and let dry thoroughly. Repeat the same process for the inside of the suitcase. Use various brushes to apply Yellow Pastel (5HSP24880), Purple Palette (5HSP24842) and Painterly Pink (5HSP24835) randomly to Sticky Back Canvas (5HSA24897). Doodle, stamp and layer the paints until the desired effect is achieved.

Once dry, draw irregular flowers onto the back of the canvas and cut to size. Use Metallic Bronze paint (5JQ-565) to the edge of each flower. Glue Light Purple Crushed Velvet Ribbon (5MR-CV005) onto the suitcase. Peel the backing off of the flowers, and adhere to the front of the case. Add a dot of Metallic Bronze to the center of each flower.

Spit Spot! And Off We Go...
by Vanessa Spencer

My inspiration for the suitcase came from one of my all time favorite movies "Mary Poppins." Start by covering the suitcase with some vintage music paper that has been distressed with black ink (5TS-BLACK). Take a sheet of sticky back canvas (5HSA24897) and paint one third purple (5HSP24842), one third pink (5HSP24835), and the other third yellow pastel (5HSP24880). Set aside to dry. Once dried use the Mad tea Party No. 6 Stamp (5CC-MTP01) to stamp the dress form onto the yellow and the spoons onto the pink. Then use the French Laundry No. 10 stamp (5CC-FL10) to stamp the bird and buttons onto the yellow. Use the Letters & Time stamp (C8213) by Claudine Hellmuth and stamp onto the pink canvas. For the purple use your favorite stamp image, I chose one with an image of a lady.

Cut out all the stamped images. Attach the yellow dress from image to the front of the suitcase. Add some rub-ons the spell out "wonder where you are going." Then add a flower embellishment, a small circular piece of music paper and the button image. Cut thin strips of the pink canvas and attach over the brown strips on the side.

For the ATCs, cut out the ATC cards using the green ledger paper from the Mistletoe kit (5CI-MISTLETOE). Distress the edges of the ATC cards and stamped images using black ink (5TS-BLACK). Attach the stamped canvas images to the ATCs. Add some vintage music paper and flowers as desired.

Trying using some of your favorite Mary Poppins quotes for some interesting ATCs! Some of my favorite are:
