Making Memories Scrapbook Colors Kits

Paints are one of our favorite art supplies, and these new Scrapbook Colors Kits from Making Memories are just impossible to resist! Each set contains six 2 oz. bottles of acrylic paint, 3 foam brushes (2 brushes are 1” wide, and the other is 1-1/2” wide), and a plastic palette for mixing the paints.

The paints are archival safe, so you can use them for all your scrapbook projects. They can be used to alter the color of metal embellishments, and work wonderfully with the Foam Alphabet Stamps from Making Memories, too.

Even the names of the paint colors relate to the name of the kits! When you paint with the “In Bloom” Scrapbook Colors Kit, it’s not just blue...you’re painting with “cornflower”. In the “Sherbet” kit, pink becomes “Strawberries & Cream”!!! So pick your favorites, and have fun painting!

Paint Bitti Bendi Doll (5SWBITTI - Discontinued) and a small panel of muslin with shopping bag acrylic from Cityscape Scrapbook Colors Kit (5MA-23751). Paint shoes on doll with black acrylic. Stamp face (Character Construction) with Jet Black StazOn ink (5TS-BLACK) on the muslin. Cut out face and glue to head of the Bendi doll. Stitch a kimono from red fabric and trim with ribbon. Dress doll in the kimono. Tie a ribbon around the waist of the doll. Glue the hands of the doll together and attach a fish charm. Color lips on face with a permanent red pen. Stitch black embroidery floss to the head to create hair.

Paint Bitti Bendi Doll (5SWBITTI - Discontinued) with a mixture of shopping bag and espresso Cityscape Scrapbook Colors Kit (5MA-23751). Paint the doll’s shoes with black acrylic. Glue two plastic disks to the dolls chest. Glue a panel of leopard stretch fabric around the doll to create a dress. Glue black trim from Making Memories Ribbons - Black & White (5MA-23193) onto the doll’s shoulders to create straps and tie a length of the same trim around the dolls body. Place black beads from Paris Chic (5DMAKPARIS - Discontinued) on two lengths of wire and poke the wire into the sides of the doll’s head to create earrings. Place black and clear beads from Paris Chic on two lengths of wire. Wrap the beaded wires around the doll’s neck and wrist for jewelry effect. Fold and glue brown ribbon to create a purse. Glue trim from Making Memories Ribbons - Black & White (5MA-23193) to the purse to create a strap. Glue beads to the front of the purse. Glue a gold tassel to the doll’s head. Glue two panels of leopard fabric to the top of the dolls head to create a hat. Glue the purse strap to the doll’s shoulder. Glue Brick Red Suede Paper (5KC-631076 - Discontinued), Black Thin Stripes Flat Paper (5KC-633759), and Pink Stripes Flat Paper (5KC-633827) to mini shopping bag printouts. Cut out the three bags and glue the tabs. Glue a ribbon and a strip of the paper to twp of the bags for handles, as shown. Place tissue paper or tulle into the bags. Place a perfume bottle from Paris Chic into the pink striped bag, and a Champagne bottle sticker from Jolee’s Boutique Stickers – Champagne (5EKCHAMP - Discontinued) into the black striped bag. Her pet poodle is from Paris Chic.
