Making
Memories Ribbons
Often,
a piece or two of ribbon seems to add that perfect finishing touch
to your project, and we know how frustrating it can be to find interesting
ribbons in just the right color. Making Memories has come to the rescue
again with these beautifully color-coordinated cards of ribbons. Each
card contains 9 different ribbons, with approximately 1 yard per style.
The ribbons cover an assortment of widths and textures, each within
a color family. Once again, it seems we can’t decide on just
one favorite, so we have to have them all. You know how it is late
at night when you just have to finish that project!

Mother’s Day Greeting
by Mona Gettmann
Apply inked edge rub on’s from Décor Gold-Impress-ons (5CI-11598 - Discontinued) to the edges of Green Stripes Tag Along (5PP-54010) according to manufacturer instructions. Apply daisy borders and butterfly with script rub on’s from the same set to the Tag Along. Stamp sentiment (Personal Stamp Exchange) with Green MicaMagic™ Stamp Pad (5CS-70006) on the tag. Attach a length of green ribbon from and a yellow scrap ribbon from Buttercream Ribbons (5MA-23194) over the tag hole with a green brad from Karen Foster Jewel Mini Brads (5KF-00121 - Discontinued). Ink Dandelion Print (C8401) with Pearl MicaMagic™ Stamp Pad (5CS-70014 - Discontinued) and Antique Gold MicaMagic™ Stamp Pad (5CS-70001 -Discontinued). Stamp the image twice on a top-folded green card. Ink center portion of Brushed Dandelions (C8403) with Gold MicaMagic™ Stamp Pad and stamp on the center of the card. Cut two slits in the fold of the card. Place two lengths of yellow ribbon from Buttercream Ribbons through the slits. Attach three green brads from Jewel Mini Brads to each ribbon, as shown. Attach the prepared Tag Along to the center of the card. |

Fleurs
by Mona Gettmann
Paint a metal planter with black acrylic. Swipe white pearlescent Lumiere over the embossed portion of the planter. Glue mini pom-pom trim along the top edge of the planter. Glue a length of red gingham ribbon from Cajun Ribbons (5MA-23195) around the top edge of the planter. Using Typewriter Alphabet (Stampington & Company, J6228) stamp letters on White Shabby Oval Tiles (5EK-AXOTS01 - Discontinued) with Jet Black StazOn Ink (5TS BLACK) spelling Fleurs. Attach the tiles to the planter. Sponge the edges of the tiles with Blazing Red StazOn Ink Pad (5TS-RED) Sponge red and black StazOn inks on a Stone Accents Heart (5EK-AXACS01 - Discontinued) and glue the heart to the top of the planter.
