A love of cigar boxes is a tradition in cover artist Linda Harre's family. Her grandfather was a cigar maker in Cuba and some of Linda's earliest memories are of time spend with her grandmother making treasures from the boxes he brought home. Once Linda discovered vintage cabinet cards, she started creating mixed-media pieces like the one on this month's cover.
