Stampington
Introduces Times Remembered with Carin Andersson
Swedish artist, Carin Andersson, has joined the Stampington & Company
team, lending her designs to the Somerset Images(TM)
line. We are pleased to unveil samples made with just a few of the 36
stamps that make up her vast collection. Family photos combined with
Carin's souvenirs from her world travels makes for a truly enchanting
line of images that inspire all stampers.
Collage
How-To's with Carolyn Waitt
Stampington recently sat down with artist Carolyn Waitt to talk to her
about the exceptional collage work she creates. Published in Somerset
Studio and now an Inspirations Artist-On-Call, Carolyn's work has excited
us for many years. Her selection of images, themes, papers and mediums
fascinates us and we've asked her to share with our readers some of
the secrets of her designs.
Stamping
in the Nursery
Celebrating the arrival of a new baby, or just the expectation of her
debut, can be done with rubber stamps. How, you ask? Easy. Just follow
along on the next few pages and we'll show you a great collection of
Stampington & Company images just right for the blessed event. Our
Nursery Rhyme collection is filled with delightful images perfect for
boy or girl.
Going
For A Rusty Look
Love the look of antiques? After art with a vintage appeal or just want
to patina something new? Have we got a great project for you! Chemtek,
a product that allows you to paint and patina almost any surface with
liquid metal is now available on our website at The Shoppe at Somerset.
The process is rather easy to do and each box comes with clear instructions
on how to achieve the many metal finishes presented. Our artists used
Chemtek on a variety of surfaces in each of their samples and attained
fantastic results. It works well with paper, metal charms, wood, glass,
cardboard and plaster.
