Take
a peek inside our Winter issue!
Discover the wonderful projects, samples and more presented in this
magazine! Our winter issue has breathtaking Valentines and projects
created to celebrate the loved ones in our lives. Plain muslin bunnies
are transformed into cute, cuddly, and endearing characters with their
stamped makeovers. Stamped and embellished envelopes become unique pages
for our Treasure Pocket Books, which hold tucked away mementos, little
gifts or vacation pictures. Paper casting, first-class faux posts and
scrapbook pages can also be found in this issue.

in our Winter 2002 issue of Inspirations.
Cosmetic Art
When Teresa McFayden of Omaha, NE submitted some artsy cosmetic accessories
to our offices, we knew we had a fun project for our Inspirations
readers. Teresa crafted works of art from her recycled cosmetic containers.
Empty nail polish bottles, lipsticks, compacts and more were transformed
into miniature treasure boxes holding little books, jewelry, brooches,
words of wisdom and colorful bits of paper. We invited our Stampington
artists to join this fun project and the following pages are full
of clever ideas for incorporating Teresas idea. With a few rubber
stamps, paper, vellum and embellishments youre on your way to
creating a whole new look with ladies cosmetic pieces.
Claudine
Hellmuth: A New Journey Around the World
From Somerset Studio artist, Claudine Hellmuth, comes a new line of
Stampington & Company images. These images are so provocative and
alive with European history, that stampers around the globe are responding
with delight and enthusiasm. This collection features famous architectural
sites, a six-sided cube of childrens faces, and photos from the
artists finds. And in true Claudine style, each is graced by bits
of writing, measuring tape, drawings and diagrams. Any stamper will
find these images become an integral part of her collection. Ideal for
backgrounds, frames and main images, the line offers designs for everyone.
Treasure
Pocket Books
A perfect place to tuck mementos from special events, a few pressed
fall leaves or spring flowers, to enclose little gifts or to organize
your photographs these little accordion spined books are easy
to make and can be thoughtful gifts. Made of two covers of matboard
and an accordion-folded spine, each page incorporates an envelope to
tuck in the tiny treasures. If youre in a hurry, look for store-bought
ones in a variety of colors and sizes, or make your own with wrapping
paper, background papers or recycled magazine pages. The envelopes can
be directly glued to the accordion spine, or to a page, and then adhered
to the book. Our artists tried a variety of looks and themes with great
success.

essence of this special holiday.
