Below
are some of the articles featured in the Inspirations Spring 2002
issue!
Are
you familiar with the die-cuts on the market? Always thought of them
for the scrapbookers? Wrong! Teaming up with Accu Cut, the artists on
this project produced magnificent cards, tags and plant stakes using
the Accu-Cut die-cutting system. With an array of shapes to choose from
and with practically any paper or fabric, only a stampers imagination
is the limit! By pairing Stampington & Company rubber stamps with
the various spring-inspired dies, an exciting garden of samples begins
to bloom.
What
a line up! Our spring issue celebrates some classics from the Stampington
& Company line, as well as some newcomers in our special "Possibilities"
feature. Formerly called "A Different Point of View", this
popular segment in each issue shows off a myriad of options available
to an artist using one stamp.
Inspired
by $8 bookmarks found in a funky clothing and home accessories store,
our artists rose to the challenge to recreate their own bookmarks for
this project. Using simple matboard, rubber stamps, torn papers and
ephemera, they glued, stamped and collaged their masterpieces, just
as those for sale had been crafted. This project uses inexpensive supplies
and is so much fun even the kids can do it.
Swirling
curls of steam rise from delicate teacups filled with richly brewed
coffee or a cup of Earl Grey tea. This intoxicating new collection from
Michelle Ward announces her debut with Stampington & Company. Famous
for her designs of architectural elements and sketches of nature, Michelle
shows off her softer side with these drawings of teacups, teaspoons,
hearts, some witty quotes and chunky word cubes. Twenty-four designs.
Its hard not to want them all.
