Unmasking Your Creativity
Put on a pretty face this season with the ideas shown here using our own mask template. From feathers to fringe, bells to baubles - our Artists-On-Call have come up with fabulous concepts using this versatile pattern. Costume ball? Mardi Gras? Or a New Year's gala? This project will find you mask-making for hours. Even the kids can have fun with this one, and will love stamping one of their own for dress up or Halloween.
Posh Purses of Papier Mache
If you've been looking for a new surface to stamp you might try papier mache. These elegant purses began their lives as humble brown papier mache boxes with snap closures and braided fiber handles. But in Bernie, Cheryl and Maureen's artistic hands they have been transformed into breathtaking handbags.
Sweet Traditions
For many, cookie exchanges are just part of holiday traditions that are celebrated every year. For others, this is a new idea. The precept is simple: bake a few dozen cookies and then exchange them with your friends. They in turn give you their cookies and everyone goes home with a variety of home-baked treats without all the work. If variety is the spice of life, you 'll love hosting your own cookie exchange this year.
Christmas Found with Christine Adolph - elegant, eclectic, traditional and vintage
Serendipity led textile designer Christine Adolph to a neighborhood tag sale where found treasures from a bygone era became the heart and soul of her new holiday collection exclusively from Stampington & Company.
