French ABC Flash Cards

Learn your ABCs and a little French, too, with these 26 alphabet flash cards. Reproduced from a 1940’s French children’s book, charming vintage images accompany each letter of the alphabet and illustrate itscorresponding word in French.

Each Flash card is printed on heavyweight cardboard and measures approximately 4-3/4” by 6-1/2”. Some letters and illustrations are printed vertically, while some are horizontal. The set is presented in a sturdy box, with a delightful illustration on the front.

While this is a wonderful way to learn, we also think these beautiful graphics belong in your artwork, too! The cards are sturdy enough to serve as covers on a handmade book, and they would also delightful as the front of a greeting card. You could alter them with stamped images, and beads, charms, and fibers for a custom look. And the vintage images would add a splash of color to the new baby’s nursery! We’re sure you’ll think of countless other ways to use them, and when the cards are gone, the box can be used as is, or embellished to make a special storage container.
