Project of the Month
"ATC Calendar"
by Angela Hoffman

Start your project by cutting the background papers needed for the pages: 13 pieces 2 1/2" x 6" (one is for the cover), Cut the base 2 1/2" x 12" and one ATC sized piece (2 1/2"x3 1/2") for inside the base. Fold the 12" piece in half, wrong side together. Fold the 3 1/2" piece in half right side inside, fold over each end the other direction to create flaps for the base, glue flaps to inside of each side of the 12" piece to create the stand. Papers used are various Basic Grey Papers, Dream Street Papers: Carrinna Rose(Angela Hoffmann designs) and Nancy (Lara Ellingson designs) lines.

Using the Memories of a Lifetime Family History CD (5SPFAMILYHIST), choose and resize images for each of your calendar pages in your photo editing software. Make sure that each image fits within the ATC size of 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" size. I put multiple images onto a new 8" x 10" sized page. Cut out your images. Create a mini calendar using your favorite software program with each calendar month measuring 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" (I used Microsoft Publisher), print out and cut out.

Start by gluing each calendar page to one of the 6" pieces near the bottom, using an ATC sized blank for placement. The idea is to be able to cut out an ATC from each page once the calendar is expired. Age the edges and papers a bit with Tim Holtz Distress inks: tattered rose (5TH-TIM20240) and old paper (5TH-TIM19503) and Colorbox Cat's Eye ink pads in ochre, chestnut and dark moss, stamp corners in black ink with "see D's " flourish stamp by Inque Boutique.

Decorate each page using your cut out images, Daisyd's Rub On Tape (5DD-17096, 5DD-17097, 5DD-17098-Discontinued), small, mixed vintage Prima flowers (5PM-505103), various buttons(5PS-BUTTONS1), brads, and vintage lace, using your favorite glues. Stamp words in black ink with Making Memories Magnetic Letters(5MA-23485): rummage. Bind with your favorite binding method, I used my coil binder but it could also be bound with two holes and fibers or rings, decorate binding with fibers and lace.
