Tuck flaps into Small Memento Envelopes (5MLENVSM). Punch holes along edge with a micro punch. Work on each envelope as a small collage before binding them together. Select desired collage elements from Collage Scrap Pack (5DMSCRAP), and various Collage Packs. Glue selected collage elements to envelopes and rub with Lumiere paints to achieve desired effect. The charm of these books is that each one is unique. Here are some of the ideas used in this book, but you’re sure to come up with even more! Stamp on some of the envelopes. Stamps used in this book include Letters & Time (C8213), Forget Me Not (M4723), Giant Pillar (P2097), Triptych Frame (C8232) and One Man Show (C8206). The pillar is the perfect place for the image of the litle girl to stand. Stamp One Man Show 3 times to make a grid of men. Stamp “forget me not” once on some patterned paper from the collage scrap pack and another time on a scrap of metallic cardstock. Cut the words from the metallic cardstock, then glue to the back of a Clear Glass Rod (5SDG-RCLEAR - Discontinued) and attach to the page. Encase a word from the Typewriter Key Words (5DMWORDS) in a glassine envelope (5CB2X2) and attach to page with a small brad. Layer a Medium Circle Blank Page Pebble (5MA-22923 - Discontinued) over one of the small words from the same pack.. Add Small Solid Butterfly Paper Charms (5CWBUTTER - Discontinued) to accent pages. Add a littXle Lumiere to these to add some color. Cut butterfly images from Up and Away (5ARAWAY) to fit into openings in Cardstock Slide Mount (5DMSLIDE-RED - Discontinued) and glue in place. Attach these to tags and the envelopes. Embellish with charms and beads. Rub with more Lumiere as desired. Stamp clock image (Stampers Anonymous) and glue various clocks from Clock Faces Collage Pack (5DMCLOCK) over image. Embellish with clock parts from Watch Findings (5SMFINDINGS). Punch typewriter key letters from Metal Type Collage Sheet (5ARTYPE) to spell out words, and cover each one with a Medium Circle Blank Page Pebble (5MA-22923 - Discontinued). When you are satisfied with your pages, bind them together with linen or another favorite strong fiber. This book was bound with linen warp used in weaving, and uses a simple blanket stitch. Attach beads from a Collage Accent Kit to coordinate with your colors and designs. The added feature of this book is that now you have lots of pockets to use to add tags or poetry or photos or anything else your little heart desires. You are only limited by your own imagination, so we’re sure you’ll have fun and come up with wonderful books of your own.
