Instructions

  1. Remove wings and oval plate from sheet and attach to Craft Sheet using Glue Dots. *This will allow you to paint the piece without holding onto it.

  2. Shake Distress Metallic Crackle Paint and remove brush cap – Apply a medium coat of paint to Grungeboard and allow to dry and crack. *Do not try to speed up this process with a heat tool – allow paint to dry and crackle on its own.

  3. Apply Multi-Medium to canvas using a piece of Cut n’ Dry Foam.

  4. Place dictionary page onto wet canvas and apply a second layer of Multi-Medium. Let dry.

  5. Ink edges of covered canvas using Ink Blending Tool with Blending Foam by tapping the tool onto Frayed Burlap Distress Ink Pad.

  6. Once Grungeboard is crackled, remove from Craft Sheet and peel away any excess crackle paint.

  7. Apply Rub-ons to Grungeboard oval.

  8. Ink over crackled bird with Walnut Stain Distress Ink using Ink Blending Tool working ink into the cracks. *Wipe away excess ink if desired.

  9. Attach Long Fasteners to oval and open in back.

  10. Adhere all Grungeboard pieces to canvas using Glossy Accents.

  11. Adhere pocket watch over Grungeboard wings with Glossy Accents. Allow to dry and set completely.

  • Ephemera (old photos, tickets, papers, dictionary page)
  • Found Objects (letter tiles, ruler, and watch)
  • Metal Box Corners

Instructions

  1. Adhere the chipboard square to the top area of your craft sheet with glue dots to hold the pieces in place.
  2. Paint with Old Paper Distress Crackle Paint. Let dry and crack.
  3. Adhere dictionary paper to primed canvas using Glossy Accents. Let dry.
  4. Paint over various areas of covered canvas with multiple colors of Distress Crackle Paint leaving areas of dictionary text still showing. Let dry and crack.
  5. Ink crackled canvas and chipboard square using Ink Blending Tool and Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.
  6. Apply Pitch Black Paint Dabber to stamp by tapping the paint on to the stamp and lightly swiping across the stamp before stamping.
  7. Press stamp on to top corner of canvas and lift off. Let dry.
  8. Embellish canvas using Glossy Accents to adhere all ephemera and embellishments.
  9. Layer crackled Chipboard square under the letter “t”.
  10. Attach metal corner to canvas with screws.
  11. Hang watch from canvas using screw eye.
