Begin with a Cavallini file folder (5CFF/PKTCOL) that has a left tab. Open the folder and lay it out flat. Take the bottom edge and fold it up 4” and score with a bone folder (5PR-19-1004). Staple the left and right edges that you folded up – you should only need about 3 staples on each edge. You could alternatively use strong glue.

Then fold the left and right sides towards the center – these will be valley folds. The center is already scored but you will need to fold it the opposite way to create a mountain fold and score it again. You now have an accordion.
Use black StazOn ink (5TS-BLACK) and stamp inside the rectangle on the tab with the Jet’aime stamp from the Cavallini Bonjour rubber stamp set (5CPSTAMP/BONJOU). Then use the birdcage stamp from the Cavallini Bird & Nest rubber stamp set (5CSTAMP/BRD) and stamp it with the black StazOn (5TS-BLACK) onto the tab of each envelope.

Take the square bird images from the ARTchix Studio "Pretty Bird" collage sheet (5AR-M219) and cut them out and glue onto each card. Underneath the bird image stamp horizontal leaf image from the Bird & Nest rubber stamp set (5CSTAMP/BRD) with black StazOn just underneath the bird image. I used a total of eight cards and envelopes for this set and put a quantity of 4 into each section. Finish by closing the accordion set in tie with some lush pink ribbon!

The possibilities are endless with this file folder project! You could use it to store ephemera, photos, and much more!
