Prepare cover and pages of Board Book 4” x 6” (5PB-4X6BOOK) by painting with various colors of Lumiere paints. For each 2-page spread of this book, the artist focused on what inspires her. “Family” and “Paris” are two of the themes shown here. And the cover reflects her dream of one day going to Paris!

For the cover, print Eiffel Tower image from Chic Bag Boutique CD-ROM (5VW314), and cut out with deckle edge scissors. Glue to a piece cut from Livre 12” x 12” Paper (5SG-1910 - Discontinued), and adhere to cover of board book with The BORDERLine™ Rectangular Glue Stick (5AT-BORDERLINE). Glue “wish” from Typewriter Keys Words–B&W (5DMWORDS) to cover.

For the book closure, take a piece of Large Printed Twill (5SG 8128) and attach Gold Lock (5SG-8228) to ends of twill tape. Wrap around journal to keep it closed.

The “Family” page starts with stamping Large Wrought Iron Grille (G1047) on one page. Copy treasured family photographs in black & white, and cut out images. The circles were made using the 3/4” Lever Circle Punch (5MU-LVJCP50). Glue images to pages and spell out “family” with type key stickers, or you can use the letters from Metal Type Collage Sheet (5ARTYPE) and the 1/2” Lever Circle Punch (5MU-LVCP40) is the perfect size to use with the Metal Type Collage Sheet.

The “Paris” page has wonderful images of Paris, as well as a Paris watch face charm. The pages of this book are sturdy enough to hold up with heavier embellishments. A Large Gold Photo Turn (5SG 8249) is attached with a brad. A Fleur de Lis is stamped onto a scrap of paper, and also punched out using the Fleur de Lis Giant Punch. The Visit to Paris image (C8218) was stamped and reduced and copied onto patterned paper.

Cover: Attach panels of polka-dot paper and Toscana Swirls Embossed Paper (5KC-632387 - Discontinued) to the cover of a Board Book (5PB 6X6BOOK). Age Gold Alphabet Tiles Stickers (5ST-AC917G) with Jet Black StazOn Ink Pad (5TS-BLACK) and attach letters to the bottom right side of the cover. Wrap velvet ribbon around the top portion of the cover and glue in place. Attach an Antique Key (5DCKEY) to the ribbon with a sheer ribbon tied into a bow. Attach Pop Up Glue Dots (5JV-12296) behind the key to keep the key in place. Attach a Gold Lock (5SG-8228) to a length of velvet ribbon. Attach the two pieces together around the bottom portion of the book, as shown. Attach a Medium Circle Blank Page Pebble (5MA-22923 - Discontinued) to a rose cutout. Glue the page pebble and a knotted ribbon to the top portion of the lock.

First spread: Cover the right inside page with English Floral Embossed Vellum (5KC-633391). Cut an opening in the paper. Cut strips from Fern Suede Paper (5KC-631052) with decorative scissors. Glue the strips around the edge of the opening. Glue Cream Bitsy Buttons (5SM-CREAM - Discontinued) to the strips. Paint a white rose with a pink watercolor pencil. Coil the end of the rose stem. Tie a ribbon around the stem and into a bow. Glue the rose to the bottom length of velvet ribbon. Attach border stickers to the edges and rose corners to the page. Attach a quote from In the Garden Adhesive Quotations (5CLGARDEN - Discontinued) to the left side of the page. Attach a Medium Oval Blank Page Pebbles (5MA-22083 - Discontinued) to a butterfly cutout. Glue the oval pebble to the top portion of the velvet ribbon. Using Vintage Workshop Clothing Collage CD-ROM (5VW315), print butterfly with roses image on white paper. Tear the edges around the image. Apply bronze rub ons to the edges of the image. Stamp text from Collage Cube (Stampington & Company, C8418) with Soft Wheat Ink (5HA-SIWHE) on the right page of the book. Attach the prepared panel, two rose corner stickers, a rose sticker, and postage letter stickers to the bottom of the page. Age Copper Alphabet Tiles Stickers (5ST-AC917C) with green ink. Attach the letters to the bottom of the butterfly image, as shown.

Second spread: Using Vintage Workshop Clothing Collage CD-ROM (5VW315), print flora image on white paper. Tear the edges around the image. Stamp ornate motif from Collage Cube with Olive Green StazOn Ink Pad (5TS-GREEN) four times on a striped panel. Apply gold rub ons to the edges of the panel. Sponge olive green StazOn ink along the edges of the left page. Attach the prepared striped panel and the fauna panel to the page. Age Gold Letter Stickers with black ink. Attach the prepared stickers to a Clear Glass Fused Rod (5SDG RCLEAR). Wrap green wire around the edges of the rod. Attach the rod to the page with Pop Up Glue Dots. Apply gold rub ons to a sentiment sticker. Attach the sentiment sticker and a postcard sticker to the page. Stamp ferns and leaves (Stampendous) randomly with olive green StazOn ink along the edges of the right page. Stamp Gentle Touch (Stampington & Company, K5529) with olive green StazOn ink on the top left corner of the page. Color the image with chalks and add highlights with color pencils. Apply gold rub ons to the edges of the page. Stamp text with A-B-Seas Stamp Set (5AMSTAMPSET) with green ink on an Olive Slide Holder (5DMSLIDE-OL - Discontinued). Add highlights to the letters with a gold pen. Stamp leaves and fern (Stampendous) randomly with olive green StazOn ink on the prepared slide holder and a second olive slide holder. Glue the text stamped slide holder to the bottom left corner of the page. Apply gold rub ons to a Glassine Envelope (5CB2X2). Place the envelope inside the slide holder. Glue two Cream Bitsy Buttons to the envelope. Fold the slide holder closed and attach Gold Large Photo Turns (5SG-8249) on each side of the slide holder with eyelets. Attach a panel of Brass Wire Mesh (5AO-50079G) to the back side of the opening in the right page. Laminate Pointed Green Pressed Flowers (5KAGREEN) and White Star Pressed Flowers (5KAWTSTAR - Discontinued). Cut out a panel from the laminated piece. Glue the laminated panel to the inside of the second slide holder. Attach the slide holder to a Wire Connector (5SG-8252). Tie a bow around the top portion of the wire connector. Using a Button Hole Punch (5MGBUTTON), punch hole near the bottom edge of the page. Place a length of ribbon through the holes and tie around the wire connector and into a bow.

Third spread: Cover the left page with Pink Stripes Paper (5KC 633827). Using Vintage Workshop Clothing Collage CD-ROM, print out rose image on vellum. Tear the edges around the image. Stamp mesh from Trims X4 (Stampington & Company, C8417) with watermark ink along the edges of the left page. Apply green Pearl Ex powder to the images. Glue the rose image to the top of the page. Attach a quote sticker from Garden Adhesive Quotations to the page. Mount a tag sticker to the top right corner of the page. Print out two smaller rose images from the Clothing Collage CD on Inkjet Vellum (5VW955). Cover two Ivory Folders (5DMMICRO-IV) with the images and trim the edges. Cut out postcard images. Place a length of knotted green ribbon through an Easel Spirale (5SG-8118 - Discontinued). Glue the spiral and ribbon to the lower right corner of the page. Tuck the prepared folders and postcards into the Easel Spirale. Cut out an image from a Bliss Transparency (5ARBLISS). Glue the edges of the cutout to the right page. Attach button and trim stickers to the edges of the page. Punch two holes in the bottom of the page. Place one end of Natural Elastic (5SG-8123 - Discontinued) into one of the holes. Thread letter beads from Autumn Accent Kit (5PB-AKAUTM - Discontinued) onto the elastic and attach the end through the second hole in the page.
