Roll® Glaze™ Pen Set
The
newest thing in pens is the Glaze pens from Sakura! This is the first
pen available to offer raised lines and glossy lettering without heat
or embossing powders. Just slowly write or draw with these pens, and
let the ink dry...the result looks just like embossing!
The
set contains 9 basic colors, and a 10th pen that is a clear gloss. This
gloss pen works well for resist techniques, as well as to add dimension
to collage elements or stamped images. Since the inks take awhile to
dry, it is possible to blend these colors within your design to create
an even bigger color selection.
Artist
Mona Gettmann used the Glaze pens to create the beautiful samples shown
here. Whether of glass or ceramic, the result is a glossy, raised
surface that is just magnificent. Glaze clings to most non-porous surfaces,
giving you the freedom to work on ceramics and glass as well as paper.
These pens work well on our fused glass tags and other shapes, as well
as on our glass slides. Just be patient and allow time for the ink to
dry.
The
set of 10 pens includes orange, pink, purple, blue, yellow, red, rose,
green, black, and the clear gloss. There is also a tips & techniques
booklet enclosed with the set.
