Ever wondered about the faces behind the artwork shown to you in each issue of Stampington Inspirations™?

We are pleased to introduce you to a group of women who excel in the paper arts and amaze us with their imaginative stamped samples in every issue.

This very special group we call our Artists-On-Call. Stampington & Company is pleased to present the photo gallery and biographies of these very talented, extraordinary ladies.

Lori Brofsky
With an addiction to paper and a love of color, Lori Brofsky creates art that possesses a shabby chic meets vintage grunge quality. She has been known to pick up a crushed bottle cap from the ground because of how it has rusted and often incorporates the use of everyday office supplies with a twist. When asked what tools she could not live without, her immediate response was a black ink pad and sandpaper (any grit will do). "It's great that scrapbooking and rubber stamping can finally coexist because now I can justify all my supplies to my husband." explains Lori. Lori is a stay-at-home mom to two little ones - daughter Jordan and son Jake. Born and raised in NYC, Lori and her family live in Fort Mill, South Carolina. When she is not working on samples for Stampington Inspirations™, Lori enjoys dabbling with altered books and collage. Her artwork has appeared in several Stampington & Company's magazines and publications.

Cheryl Husmann

Cheryl Husmann
Cheryl Husmann is a mixed-media artist with a penchant for paper. She teaches collage, altered books and rubber stamp classes across the U.S. Over the years Cheryl has explored various art mediums from painting landscapes, decorative painting on wood, and even counted cross stitch, to name a few. She became intrigued by rubber stamps as a way to decorate the hang tags on items she made for Christmas art and craft shows. That was soon the end of that hobby and the beginning of a new passion. Collage is now the main focus of her artistic endeavors because she says she doesn’t have to decide between fiber, paint, paper or rubber stamps.

Cheryl makes her home just north of Milwaukee, WI in the small town of Grafton. The mom of two grown children and a grandson, it’s only Cheryl’s husband at home now who raises an eyebrow at the little oddities she drags home from rummage sales she will work into her art. Two spoiled retrievers and two sassy cats round out the household and occasionally steal papers and paint brushes from her art room.

Joyce Schweitzer
No one can hold a candle to scrapbooking with stamps the way Joyce Schweitzer of Greensboro, N.C., does! This busy woman, always on the go with her camera in tow, chronicles her life for us in every issue of Inspirations™. Joyce describes her style as "comprehensive, cohesive, and hopefully clever." As she begins her pages, she focuses in on one photo and a title. By working with these two main elements, her pages unfold in a natural, well-composed and clean way. Her composition, balance and added elements of a poem or song lyrics add flair to her pages. Husband, Fred, is happy to have Joyce take on the historian and photographer role in the family, documenting the family's events for generations to come.
