Beginning with Tulip (pink) then Peapod (green) and ending with Robin’s Egg (blue) from Making Memories - Spring Paint Kit (5MA-29029) lightly dab the paint all over one side of the Buckle Up - Large Heart (5ON-EMB313) allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Apply a black rub-on in your choice of design to the central area of the painted heart. Apply a clear layer of acrylic using either Glossy Accents (5DP-GAC17042) or Diamond Glaze™ (5JK-DIAMOND2) and allow to dry, preferably overnight.
Apply a line of Designer Dries Clear Glue by Art Glitter (5AG-DDC02) to the outside edge of the acrylic heart following manufacturers suggestion. When dry and tacky, sprinkle with Antique Silver Fine Glitter (5AG-611) for just a touch of bling. Adhere a flat-backed faux pearl over the hole that is drilled in the heart.
To make the Junque pendant holder, fold a Heart Spiral (5SG-8116) in half in order to have a wire fold on either side of the heart’s spiral and attach a Clipiola to each metal fold. Attach one suspended Clipiola to either side of the back of the acrylic heart using Diamond Glaze or your favorite jewelry adhesive. Attach an ecru colored satin ribbon to the pendant holder using a larks head knot. |
