To find and view the products used, click here. What’s not to love about these quirky, goofy characters from the Stampotique collection? Our Shoppe Manager couldn’t resist picking out a few of her favorite personalities to create this frightful family trio! Paint each box (5DCBOOKSMK) with black acrylic paint (5EC-01008) and set aside to dry. Trim down your favorite patterned papers from the Authentique Glowing collection (5AP-BGL001) and attach to the front of each book with adhesive (5DK-2985). Stamp your favorite characters onto tissue paper using the black ink (5TS-BLACK). I chose to stamp Uncle Buck (5SO-6069), Prairie Misfit (5SO-6043), and Marci (5SO-6049). Cut out the tissue paper images and then glue the tissue paper on with a thin coat of matte medium (5EC-05305). Paint the binding on the book with Sand acrylic paint (5EC-01045) lightly. Cut out some fun Halloween quotes from the ARTchix Studio Halloween Tell me a Story collage sheet (5AR-M3691). I found some fun quotes that seemed to fit the characters nicely. Lastly, glue some strips of black baroque borders (5AR-G892 - DISCONTINUED) onto each book as desired for a fun Halloween accent. For a finishing touch, fill the embellished boxes with treats for the family, or use them as favors at a Halloween party! |
