This holiday season, present your crafty friends or family members with a SMASH gift bundle that they won’t be able to resist—complete with an altered "SMASH" bag to house all the delicious supplies! To create this bag, start by spraying a 12" x 147" cotton bag (5HI-COTKITLG) with a strip of red color wash (5THTCW29687) and allow to dry. In the meantime, paint a piece of sticky back canvas (5HSA24903) with green paint (5EC-01037 - DISCONTINUED) and allow that time to dry as well. Stamp the word "SMASH" onto the bag using our large scratch alphabet stamps (J6230) and black StazOn ink (5TS-BLACK). Once the green canvas has dried, cut a strip of it with a scalloped edge design, the Tim Holtz Tonic scissors (5TO-817) works wonderfully on the canvas! Attach the strip to the bag, then place a strip of red striped fabric tape (5DK-STRRED) on the bag just above the green strip. Sew three small black buttons (5PS-BUTTONS1) onto the bag to accent the black text. Fill the bag with your favorite SMASH products and you’ll have yourself a smashing gift!
