The Cavallini file folders are feature such stunning designs so I decided to create a storage container that would allow the folders to be seen and stand out. I used the Paris Pink themed file folders (5CFF/PARPNK). I found an old box that needed to be recycled and cut it down to size using my tonic scissors (5TO-817). I painted over the outside of the box with Gesso (5HSP24941). Using strips of brown paper I added a border around the top edge of the box and then also add a strip of vintage text along the border to accent some of the vintage inspired designs on the file folders (5CFF/PARPNK). The paper borders were both glued on with Collage Pauge (5DU-MATTE16) to ensure a strong hold. The decorative rectangular design on the front was cut out from one of the Cavallini Postcards (5CP/FF). Insert the file folders in the box and enjoy the pretty designs but be organized at the same time!
