Pumpkin Woman Collage

To create the paper doll, use black ink (5TS-BLACK) and stamp pumpkin head image and bodice image from the Bird & Bee Paperie No. 3 stamp (5CC-BB03), and shoes from the Queen of Tarts No. 3 set (5CC-QOT03) on cream paper and color with pencils. Stamp skirt image from the French Laundry No. 6 set (5CC-FL06) on patterned paper and attach to other stamped, colored pieces. Attach some vintage lace to the bottom of the skirt. Apply a cancelled postage stamp to a brass locket. Attach locket, velvet leaf, and ribbon to pumpkin lady. Make a copy of a vintage ledger page. Layer on various styles of other vintage papers. Apply stamped images and paint. Stitch around some of the paper edges with a sewing machine. Place pumpkin lady on background where you plan to attach her and trace around the outside edge lightly with a pencil. Remove pumpkin lady and using watercolor crayons, add color around the pencil lines for a shadow effect, blending with your fingers.
*You may also add some color around the outside edges of the collage too. Attach pumpkin lady with foam tape. Apply vintage buttons. |

Vintage book cover with owl

Stamp owl image from the Bird & Bee Paperie No. 19 set (5CC-BB19) on cream paper with black ink (5TS-BLACK) and color with pencils. Add a small amount of green glitter (5RR-SGG01829) in eye area of owl. Punch a piece of decorative paper and attach to skirt of owl. Paint gesso (5HSP24941) on a vintage book page and let dry. Add color to book page using watercolor crayons, blending with a baby wipe. Layer book page, cardstock, vintage wallpaper, and scrapbook papers. Attach papers to a cover cut from an old book. Attach owl on top of papers using foam tape. Add metal corners. |
