These natural bags are perfect to use for gift giving this holiday season. I especially love the mini 3”x5” bags because they are the perfect size for gift cards. The bags used in this project are a Moss 6”x10” (5HI-B972-17) bag, Burgundy 5”x7” (5HI-B971-10) bag and a Natural 3”x5” (5HI-B970-02) bag.
Green Bag:
Start with the Moss 6”x10” bag (5HI-B972-17). Cut out a piece of fabric that’s approximately 7”x4 ½ “to fit the front of the bag. Use a thick thread to stitch the fabric on. Take a Prima natural flower (5PM-530112) and stitch it onto the front of the bag using Red Scrappers Floss (5KF-00255) as the thread.
Burgundy Bag:
Use a burgundy 5”x7” bag (5HI-B971-10) and cut out a piece of fabric that is approximately 3 ½ “x 3 ½ “and stitch it onto the front of the bag. Just do a simple stitch that is an X stitch in each corner. Use fabric glue to glue on the Prima Artful Collage Leaves (5PM-523862) in the shape of a star. Take a large white button from the Button Grab Bag (5PS-BUTTONS1) and stitch it onto the middle of the flower.
Natural Bag:
This bag is the “gift card” bag. Any of the 3”x5” bags are perfect for gift cards, for this project I used a natural 3”x5” bag (5HI-B970-02).To create the holly embellishment use the Prima Artful Collage Leaves (5PM-523862) and glue them onto the bag with fabric glue. Take three red buttons from the Button Grab Bag (5PS-BUTTONS1) and stitch them onto the top area of the leaves to create the holly look.
