The Photo and Ephemera box (5HT-112204) is perfect for storing all sorts of odds and ends. Use it to hold postcards, handmade cards and more. I just added some simple touches to decorate it. Using a simple book plate that I found at a local discount store, I painted it with crackle paint. I used a mixture of black and antique bronze (5RR-TDC24491 & 5RR-TDC23661) to try and match the color as best as possible to the handles and closure. Allow to dry. Cut out the bird image from one of the papers in the Character Constructions Belle Jardinière (5CC-BELLE)
Paper collection. Cut the bird down to size so that it will fit the bookplate you use. I attached my book plate by using 2 small brads (5MA-23541) and then gluing it on with a strong adhesive (5HSP24927). For the inside of the lid I cut out the house image from the Belle Jardinière Paper Pack (5CC-BELLE) and glued it to the inside of the lid. Cut out small strips of papers from the Belle Jardinière Paper pack (5CC-BELLE) and then stamp your favorite ephemera words onto the strips using the Typewriter alphabet stamp (J6228), walnut stain distress ink (5TH-TIM19534), along with an acrylic block (5CLR-AMKIT1). Glue the strips onto a piece of cardstock. This will make the label sturdy so it won’t fall out of the miniature label plates on the albums inside. Insert the labels as desired. Fill the insides with any of the suggested items below or anything that simply needs to be stored in vintage style!
