What do you give to the person who has everything? These handmade gifts are a great idea for a birthday, the holiday season, or to present as a special “thank you” to the chef in your family.

The new Where Women Cook: Celebrate! cookbook is the item that I chose to wrap as a present. This quick and easy packaging idea was made with our Handmade by Somerset Merry Muslin Bags (5WH-001) and Ruffled Blue Striped Fabric Strips (5WH-010). Simply insert your book or magazine, and then use fabric glue (we have a new one coming to The Shoppe soon!) to adhere the ruffled strip around the middle for a “wrapped” look. Finish off your present by adding a coordinating French Fabric Label (5WH-013).

Your recipient is going to get hungry looking at all the fantastic dishes in their new cookbook, so why not add a little snack? Using ready-to-alter clear top tins (5SBO-XLARGE), adhere the same ruffled fabric strips to the outside of the tin. Grab the “Pour Vous” (for you) label from your set to adhere to the tin’s lid. Line the inside of the tin with a few sheets of Unbleached Wax Paper (5WAX-SHEET6X6 - DISCONTINUED), and insert your favorite cookie or treat!
